Subscriptions are available now for VAA's 2010-2011 Chamber Music Series. The first performance will be held at Vashon United Methodist Church; subsequent concerts will be performed at Blue Heron Art Center.
The Series begins October 8, when odeonquartet presents Three Centuries of Russian Chamber Music. Formed in 1999, this vibrant group has made a Kronos-like commitment to performing 20th century music.

November 19 is sold out, so a second show was added Nov. 20, a performance to include Quartet for the End of Time by Olivier Messiaen and a selection of French songs performed by celebrated soprano Jennifer Krikawa.Other guest performers include pianist Jeanine Jacobson, violinist Karin Choo and clarinetist Jennifer Nelson.

Finally on February 25th, 2011, the evening's repertoire will include music by Haydn and Brahms and Fauré with special guests Mark Robbins, French horn and pianist John Covelli, along with ROnald and Roxanna Patterson, violin and viola.
