The Curtis Brothers
Zaccai Curtis & Luques Curtis make the Curtis Brothers. The two are both extremely talented musicians hailing from New York City.
Zaccai Curtis has been living in New York City playing with such artists as Ralph Peterson, Bill Saxton,Will Calhoun, Christian Scott, Brian Lynch, Sean Jones, Ray Vega, Antoine Roney, Cindy Blackman, Steve Hall, Jimmy Greene, Jerry Gonzalez and the Fort Apache Band, Papo Vasquez, Kendrick Oliver and the New Life Orchestra, and Donald Harrison.
Luques Curtis has been performing bass professionally from a very young age. With his talent and hard work he earned a full scholarship to the prestigious Berklee college of music. He and his brother have been leading their own band for six years and have recently released their third CD on Truth Revolution Records. Now living in New York City Luques has been performing with artists such as Eddie Palmieri, Brian Lynch, Ralph Peterson, Christian Scott, Sean Jones, Gary Burton, Stefon Harris, Donald Harrison and others.
