Global climate chaos is a real concern for Coloradoans who experience rain in December instead of snow, but the City of Fort Collins is spearheading the charge to reduce our impact on the planet. Join Bruce Hendee, the Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Fort Collins, as he discusses Fort Collins' Fort ZED (Zero Energy District) project, their new Climate Action Plan, as well as their holistic approach to reducing the city's footprint by looking at the economic, social, and environmental aspects of everything they do. As Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Fort Collins, Bruce Hendee oversees the Economic Health, Environmental Services, and Social Sustainability Teams. The service area has the responsibility of managing and implementation of the Sustainability efforts of the City including the Economic Health Strategic Plan, Sustainability Strategic Plan, and Social Sustainability Strategic Plan.
