Latin Cooking Experience Package
The cost of this Latin Cooking Classes package is $200 and includes admission all three cooking classes listed below on the provided dates. A limited quantity of this package is available.
Chile Verde - Tuesday, January 27th 6-8 PM
Learn how to cook Pork Chile Verde (Green) in this Cooking Class at El Centro de la Raza (The Center for People of All Races). Plump chunks of pork slow cooked in green chile sauce will leave you wanting more! Chef Patrick's take on this stew is native to Northern Mexico is complete with roasted tomatillos, garlic, onion, and green peppers. We will have some fun culinary surprises for you along the way!
Seafood Ceviche Cooking Class - Tuesday, February 24th 6-8 PM
Learn how to cook Ceviche in this Cooking Class at El Centro de la Raza. A staple in coastal areas in South America and popular internationally, this fresh dish will leave you wanting more. The varieties of ceviche are endless! Come learn how to make ceviche, guacamole, and various dipping devices. A special beverage also awaits you!
Seafood Paella & Chicken Paella Cooking Class - Tuesday, March 31st 6-8 PM
Paella is a classic Spanish dish from the Valencian region in Spain. Popular throughout the world, this dish is rich with layers of flavor. During this class you will prepare chicken paella and then for folks who wish, you will then add seafood to the paella. Paella is not only exciting to eat, but is exciting to create! A glass of Spanish wine is included as a special treat.
