A Joyful Noise-NW Chamber Chorus
Throughout the ages, choral composers have had a favorite subject Music. In the Old Testament, we are called forth in the Psalms to "make a joyful noise! Join us as we celebrate the beauty and joy of music itself. For this program, we are very happy to welcome back good friend and collaborator, Dr. Michael Brockman, saxophonist and Co-Director of the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra. Michael will make his improvisatory contributions to an arrangement of Deep River by Anders Paulsson and to Parce mini domino by Morales, inspired by Jan Garbarek. Other music on the program includes works by Byrd, Gibbons, Scarlatti, Monteverdi, Paulus, Bridge, and Hogan.
