Thistle Theatre presents: Little Red Riding Hood
Carrying a basket full of goodies, Little Red Riding Hood sets off to Grandmutter's house when Rudy, an impish squirrel, warns her about the wolf. Sure enough, the arrogant Wolf assumes a variety of disguises in his attempt to gobble up Little Red Riding Hood. Fritz, the telegram singing bird, and Greta, a rabbit with a carriage full of baby bunnies, round out the characters Little Red Riding Hood meets along the way. Based loosely on the original Grimm's Fairy Tale, this very funny version features the music and songs of Sue Ennis including an interactive song with puppets handed out to the audience and the fabulous wolf aria.
Songwriter, Sue Ennis has penned the humorous Wolf Aria, one of the most popular songs ever written for Thistle Theatre. A talented ensemble of puppeteers perform all character voices and songs live in the production directed by Jean Enticknap.
Funded in part by 4Culture/King County Lodging Tax Fund.
