Punk Rock Night New Years Eve with the ZERO BOYS, Teenage Rehab, Dockers, Angel Burlesque and Werewolf with a Shotgun
Punk Rock Night at the Melody Inn Indianapolis, IN presents the amazing return of Indiana punk legends The ZERO BOYS for an action packed New Years Eve show.
ZERO BOYS bio: Their first release, Livin' in the '80s, was a 7" EP released by the band on their home-brew Z-Disc label. Their debut full length album, Vicious Circle, was released in 1982 with its distinctive bright yellow cover on the local label Nimrod Records. Many punk fans nationwide expressed surprise that a band like the Zero Boys originated in the Midwest; their polished intensity suggested the larger and more established scenes in Los Angeles, Washington DC, New York City and elsewhere. Indeed, their 1982 "Hell Tour" appearance at The Barn in Torrance, CA (with roadies Gary X Indiana and Marvin Goldstein in tow), on a bill with the Dead Kennedys and Minor Threat, demonstrated that the Zero Boys were a Midwestern punk rock force to be reckoned with.
with: Teenage Rehab: Simply put, Teenage Rehab is a punk rock band. After a decade of touring, recording and releasing albums Teenage Rehab have won over many fans in America and beyond. In an age where emo, screamo, and indie have all but replaced punk music, Teenage Rehab stand out as the pocket of resistance against mainstream and underground trends in music.
Angel Burlesque: Angel Burlesque brings the sizzle to the stage! The Angels tantalize, tease and treat the audience to classic bump & grind and neo-burlesque. Voted Indy's "Best Burlesque Troupe 2012", by the readers of NUVO Newsweekly - they'll show everyone how their halos got a little tarnished...
The Dockers: One of the most entertaining acts you'll ever see in your life - the music is a maddening mix of punk, garage, psychedelic and metal while the lyrics are a passive-aggressive stew of creep show, comedy, nerd and the macabre. These Fez wearing madmen will take you to places you didn't even knew existed.
Werewolf with a Shotgun: One of the newest acts to hit the stage of Punk Rock Night, they blew everyone away at their appearance at Punk Rock Night's Virgin Night. Bio: A bizarre and extravagant mix of punk, goth, surf, and a lil country. A darkness of fun and merriment. Randy "Bam Bam" Ochsenrider and Chris Thunderkiss dreamed a dream in summer 2012. Initially trying to start a country punk cover band, The Patsies, they started writing and realized their vision needed to grow. Melissa D'Templeton joined on vox and Brandon Ox (son of Bam Bam) came in on bass, and all their musical ideas grew into shape. They built their repertoire to the current form of Werewolf w/a Shotgun.
