THE LAVENDER EFFECT® is a nonprofit project of Community Partners that is "Advancing the Future of LGBTQ+ History and Culture!" Our workshops, tours, videos, exhibits, and special events teach the contributions of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Allied pioneers and celebrate diverse culture. We believe that sharing LGBTQ+ history and culture will help demystify our existence, combat homophobia, discourage adolescent suicides, and empower future generations.
