Sesi Midwest Entrepreneurship Conference
Join us for the Sesi Midwest Entrepreneurship Conference, presented by the Eastern Michigan University College of Business on February 12, 2010 at the EMU Student Center.
The key note speaker will be Chris Holman, publisher of the Greater Lansing Business Monthly and Small Business Advocate for the state of Michigan and successful entrepreneur. Chris will speak about entrepreneurship in Michigan and how young people can get started.
Opening the conference will be Tom Root, managing partner of the world famous Zingerman's in Ann Arbor.The Zingerman's Community of Businesses (ZCoB) is a family of small food related companies in the Ann Arbor area.
Break out sessions include:
David Merritt will talk about how he started IMU T-Shirts, an apparel brand that plans to innovatively change the face of fashion by building its foundation on a socially conscious platform. Katherine Hilboldt Farrell of Katherine's Catering will discuss how she "Catered her Way to Success." She has enjoyed the catering business for over 25 years. Nick Pagon of YTB will discuss "Multiple Streams of Revenue" and Joe Venuto, a recent EMU graduate, will discuss how he started his own business as he talks about "Entrepreneurship: Going into Business for Yourself."
