Enjoy an authentic Puerto Rican Christmas tradition at Las Octavitas. Over 250 guests will enjoy live entertainment by Gilberto Rivera and Rumbanamá, a delicious dinner, great raffles, and plenty of dancing with community members and leaders from across Boston.
Las Octavitas is the signature fundraiser for the Hispanic Writers Week program of the Institute for Learning and Teaching at UMass Boston. For twenty years, Hispanic Writers Week has introduced literary professionals from all corners of the Hispanic world to over 4,000 Latino public school students and serving thousands in the greater Boston community.
