Are you working on a memoir? Want to write a memoir and don't know where to start? Stuck in the middle of one and need to get a jump start?
Tamim Ansary, author of acclaimed memoirs like "West of Kabul, East of New York" (selected as San Francisco's One City One Book in 2008), "Road Trips," and other works of fiction and nonfiction. He won the Northern California Book Award for Destiny Disrupted and was nominated for Games Without Rules.
He ran the San Francisco Writers Workshop for 22 years, and has taught memoir writing in many venues from Puerto Vallerta's Taheima Resort to UC Berkeley's OLLI program.
In this class, Ansary will discuss memoir using his book "Road Trips" as a guide.
The hour and a half class will cover:
