Laini Taylor, Strange the Dreamer, in conversation with Jandy Nelson
Thursday, March 30, 2017
7:00 p.m.

Kepler's Books
1010 El Camino Real
Menlo Park, CA 94025

We are so excited to welcome the critically-acclaimed National Book Award finalist and New York Times- and USA Today-bestselling author Laini Taylor, author of the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy. Fall into a mythical world of dread and wonder, moths and nightmares, love and carnage with her new epic fantasy.

"Strange the Dreamer" is the story of the aftermath of a war between gods and men, a mysterious city stripped of its name, a mythic hero with blood on his hands, a young librarian with a singular dream, a girl every bit as dangerous as she is in danger, alchemy and blood candy, nightmares and godspawn, moths and monsters, friendship and treachery, love and carnage. Welcome to Weep.

Laini Taylor was born in Chico, California, moved around a lot, and always wanted to be a  writer. Always. She's worked as a travel book editor, a bookseller, and an illustrator/designer. Her books include Blackbringer, Silksinger, Lips Touch: Three Times, Daughter of Smoke & Bone, Days of Blood & Starlight, Dreams of Gods & Monsters, and the e-novella, Night of Cake & Puppets.

Laini will be in conversation with Jandy Nelson, the New York Times-bestselling author of "I'll Give You the Sun" and "The Sky Is Everywhere."

Please note that to join Laini's signing line, a copy of STRANGE THE DREAMER must be purchased at Kepler's.
