Internationally acclaimed yogi, Jessamyn Stanley is joined by Instagram star Virgie Tovar for a conversation on body image, yoga, and the meaning of beauty.
Jessamyn Stanley is an internationally recognized yoga teacher and award-winning Instagram star (@mynameisjessamyn). She has been profiled and/or featured in a wide range of media outlets, including Good Morning America, New York, Glamour, Shape, People, and the Huffington Post, among others. When she's not on the road teaching, she lives in Durham, North Carolina.
Virgie Tovar is an author, activist and one of the nation's leading experts and lecturers on fat discrimination and body image. She is the founder of Babecamp. Tovar edited the anthology "Hot & Heavy: Fierce Fat Girls on Life, Love and Fashion." Her work as been featured by the New York Times, NPR, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Bust Magazine. She lives in San Francisco and offers workshops and lectures nationwide.
