TRUCK FESTIVAL
The 13th TRUCK FESTIVAL takes place at Hill Farm, Steventon on July 23rd - 25th 2010. TRUCK is one of the UK's best and longest standing independent small festivals (and we have an award to prove it), has been described as being like village fete meets Woodstock - but with a cutting edge musical policy sharp as your fairtrade suit, free of any sponsorship or any corporate agenda.
With six stages across site which for most of the year is a working farm, you'll tell that though as soon as you enter the Barn Stage that hosts bands during the day and then our legendary Cowshed Rave.
Founded by brothers Robin and Joe Bennett on a farm within a welly wang from their family home, TRUCK now attracts over 5,000 revellers each year. A strong charitable ethos (the Rotary Club flip burgers and Colin the vicar sells ice creams) the event has raised thousands for local and national causes. Last year alone truckers helped raised over £50,000 for good causes.
This year sees the introduction of official Friday night festivities, as well as lower priced teen tickets for you slightly younger truckers out there.
