THE BATTLE OF WOUNDED ME Created and Performed By: Heather Le Roy Heather Le Roy is a baptist preacher's-daughter's daughter-"The Battle of Wounded Me " is a hilarious autobiographical piece about growing up and escaping a family of mixed breed, Baptist preachin', moonshine drinkin', Alabama hillbillies. Heather takes us on a coming of age adventure all over the US in her attempt to run from her past. This story is about no matter how far you run your past will always find you.
NEXT EXIT: BEAUTIFUL LIFE Created and Performed By: Taffy Wallace Next Exit: Beautiful Life asks the question, have you ever had a mundane moment with a stranger become the answer you have been searching for your entire life? The play is a journey through the landscape of self acceptance- identity, class, racial schisms, and the memory of a long forgotten miracle.

OBLIGED: a one woman wedding show you're obliged to attend Created and Performed By: Megan Grano
OBLIGED Weddings. Ugh. While the divorce rate escalates, weddings have taken on an absolutely unprecedented importance. In this one-woman show, Megan Grano exposes the state of weddings by following one brides story, starting with her engagement. We meet the self-centered bride, her parents, her sad but eager-to-please maid of honor, her florist, her wacky minister and a multitude of other characters all involved in making this the biggest, and (therefore) bestest day of her life!
SAVE SHELDON Created and Performed By: Kristinia Haddad
Save Sheldon! follows the tumultuous and darkly humorous journey of environmental activist and performer Kristina Haddad as she attempts to save an ancient Sequoia tree named Sheldon from the hands of the "Shady Day" Development Company. In her solo show Kristina encounters roadblocks, friends, foes, and drops of inspiration and throughout shows the lengths one activist will go to in order to protect our planet and save the beauty and magic of one old, but very much alive, tree named Sheldon!

THE ORIGIN OF FEAR Created and Performed By: Djakarta A young woman plagued by fear explores her past in an attempt to dig out the root. Is fear just a part of life or a habit made to be broken?

"I THINK YOU WENT A LITTLE FAR WITH THE HERPES THING" Created and Performed By: Kirsten Severson "...I Think You Went a Little Far With the Herpes Thing..." A TRUE STORY, is a comedy about a drama. In it, we follow TWEETY for one week in her life. After surreptitiously checking JR'S voicemail, TWEETY'S boyfriend of 5 years, she discovers an "I love you" message from another woman. "...I Think You Went a Little Far With the Herpes Thing..." incorporates the use of music, lighting and snazzy choreography to tell the very universal story of heartbreak and betrayal in an unconventional and funny way.

Through the use of monologues and contemporary music, the audience will experience their struggles with health, religion, love, family, finance and ambition, amidst a turbulent and viciously racist national climate.

I'm Gonna Fly is based on the life of Bessie Coleman, Americas first licensed black aviatrix. Bessie Coleman grew up at the turn of the last century, the twelfth of thirteen children. Her dream - to be a pilot. What made Bessie so extraordinary that regardless of her circumstances, she was fueled by her desire, her drive and her determination to live her dream.
