Township with Ron Gallo

Township is a Boston based rock band whose music gets in your head and stays there. Like slipping into your favorite, faded band t-shirt, there's a familiarity and hell yeah comfort to their 70's inspired rock and roll. With many records to their credit, 2014 was clearly the year for the band to move to the next level which was, of course, releasing a brand new cassette titled "Light Years". Dust off your boom box, get new batteries for your walkman and enjoy!

Ron Gallo is an ever-changing, good spirited, weirdo madman. This "arts and crafts music project" of the same name is an attempt at capturing where Ron Gallo is at any given moment. Sometimes rock n' roll, sometimes sunday morning bossa nova, sometimes funtime rap metal about Kurt Vonnegut, whatevs. Ron explains, "In the words of Tina Turner, "what's love got to do with it?"
EVERYTHING.

"RONNY", out 6/24 on his own label, American Diamond Recordings, is Gallo's "weirdo country" "troll pop" debut solo album produced by Reed Kendall (Up the Chain). A segue out of his previous pursuits with rock n' roll band, Toy Soldiers, and taking a more in depth, personal look into the heart and mind of Gallo while keeping it light, keeping it nice.

Ron Gallo will be playing with a full band for this show at 10pm. Township follows!
