Chapman is a San Francisco based filmmaker, a senior projectionist and collection inspector at the Pacific Film Archive, as well as a participating projectionist for the Flaherty Film Seminar. Saturday, November 8th, 2014 / 7 PM Total Run Time: 93 minutes Under a sudden prolonged dusk, the Theologian struggles with his sedan, the Landlord continues his evictions, the Liaison waves his under-hand, the Secularist barks his messages, and so on, until these strangers and associates, at least for a moment, realize they are not the only creatures in an indifferent universe. "I attempted to construct a set of characters that are unified in their impotency, none particularly successful as advocates for their respective causes, all somewhat uniform in their exhaustion and unified in their minor shifts to consider the perspective of another." -Gibbs Chapman
