BAY AREA HAWAIIAN MUSIC DUO PULAMA CELEBRATES CD RELEASE WITH A HAWAIIAN HOLIDAY CONCERT.
Now that the cold weather is upon us, you can look forward to a warm and wonderful HAWAIIAN HOLIDAY. Transport yourself to the islands with music by Pulama. PULAMA, the Hawaiian music duo that brings beautiful vocal harmonies and scintillating slack-key guitar to audiences throughout the Bay Area will present their CD release concert celebration, PULAMA'S HAWAIIAN HOLIDAY, featuring music, hula, goodies and special guests, at the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists, 1924 Cedar Street, Berkeley, on Saturday December 12 at 8:00 p.m. (Doors open 7:30.) Pulama's sound has been described as like velvet for the heart. Jim Romano and Paula Kauapalauki Rudman present a mix of traditional, modern and hapa-haole Hawaiian songs and original compositions, arranged with artistry and performed with aloha.
