35th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition
The comedians performing come from not only the Seattle area but from across the US and truly internationally - Canada, Australia, UK, Slovenia, and even Portlandia.

That's comedian Michael Malone, talking on the phone from his hotel room in Houston Texas, where he is headlining the JokeJoint Comedy Showcase, a new iteration of one of Houston's heritage comedy clubs.
"800 comedians entered the contest, you had to submit video and all that stuff, and they whittled it down to 33, and I was honored just to be a part of that 33. Then it tiers down to 10. Then it tiers down to a top five, and then you have a winner. Every time it tiered down, I was just honored to be a part of it."
It all starts on Wednesday, November 5 2014 with an Opening Night Gala at the historic Columbia City Theater in Seattle, where 16 of the 32 chosen participants begin their run toward the championship. After 23 shows in 26 days in 19 venues around Western Washington, the winner will take the crown from reigning champ Zoltan Kaszas.
The finalists of the Seattle International Comedy Competition will have performed a minimum of 17 shows, been judged by 61 different judges, and received 427 separate scores. All while fully dressed. No wonder Hollywood seeks them out.
This is the REAL "Last Comic Standing."
