Tasty N Sons has become a Portland icon. From the day it opened, lines formed and restaurant critics raved. While it started as a brunch spot, it evolved into a great dinner destination. Three-time James Beard nominated Chef John Gorham and chef Tynan Gibson recently announced that the restaurant will undergo renovations to the space and make an exciting change to its dinner menu, reflecting Gorham's grandfather's crab shack--"Americana meets Chesapeake Bay". While the storied brunch menu remains as is, Tasty N Sons' dinner experience will take you to a warm summer night on the Virginia coast.
PFA is proud to offer the experience of the first night with the new menu in Tasty's renovated space.
As is the case at all PFA dinners, you'll meet John and Tynan as they welcome you to their freshly updated space. Taste multiple courses with all drink pairings included. Tip included too.
You will also hear John and Tynan talk about some of their favorite Portland places and leave with gift certificates to try them! You will leave armed with gift certificates to Little Bird Bistro and Ringside Steakhouse, and one mystery certificate of PFA hosts
Portland Food Adventures events are a great date idea, and perfect for clients or small groups. Multiple FOOD/DRINK EXPERIENCES FOR THE PRICES OF ONE TICKET! Multi-course dinner and wine/drinks AND GRATUITY, ALONG with certificates to two of John and Tynan's faves-- Ringside Steakhouse and Little Bird, are included in the $125 ticket. And for this event, an added bonus, Chris, PFA's host and unabashed pizza lover from New Haven, treats you to a white clam or Shakshuka pizza at Pronto Pizza.

LEGAL STUFF (and SMOKING POLICY): Please read before buying tickets. We respectfully request that guests REFRAIN FROM SMOKING DURING THE EVENT (this means getting up during the dinner and going outside to smoke, and returning), as this is a communal dining experience. Portland Food Adventures reserves the right to refuse service to any patron who smokes or acts in an inappropriate manner. No refund will be given, since the restaurant will have planned the meal for a particular number of guests. Since this is a communal dining experience we ask you to be respectful of other guests and restaurant employees in every respect. There may be expiration dates for your certificates. Tickets are non-refundable, but buyers may call 503 208 4290 to change the name of the reservation at will-call up 24 hours before the event, if for whatever reason you choose to give the ticket to someone else.
By coming to this event, unless you request otherwise in writing, you acknowledge that there will be photographers at the event, and the use of your image in blogs or for any reasons is authorized by you. Please inform any guests for whom you are buying tickets.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: If the restaurant is open on the night of the event, the event goes on. Refunds or credits for a future events will be issued within a week after the event, only if the restaurant is closed on the night of the event due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
