LA Explorers Club: Keep LA Beautiful Bike Ride- Westside
The LA Explorers Club offers bike rides for various skill levels and this is the second installment of our "KEEP LA BEAUTIFUL" bike+beer tour series. This ride is 11 miles in length and includes some bike path riding. This will also be a smaller ride than our first two, so get your tickets early. Must be 21 years or older to ride with us. Sunset is happening earlier these days, so we will meet at 1:30pm and depart at 3pm from City Tavern in Culver.
Keep LA Beautiful is a bike ride to remind us of the special locations and parks that make Los Angeles and the surrounding cities such a unique place to live. We will sprinkle in a little history into this fun bike adventure. We are meeting at City Tavern in the heart of Culver City to pedal through the gems of of the Westside (think Ballona Creek and the backstreets of Venice) before ending at Tony P's in Marina Del Rey. This is a one way bike ride, so you may want to consider using the Metro to find your way back home.
Skill Level: Mellow, mostly flat with some car traffic
Length of Ride: 11 miles
Parking: If you need to drive to the ride, there is garage parking nearby.
Meeting Location: City Tavern- 9739 Culver Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232

Transit: This is a one-way bike ride, so use the Metro if you need. Culver City (Expo Line) is the closest stop to the starting location (City Tavern) and you may want to ride back here from our ending location in Marina Del Rey (Tony P's- 4445 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey, CA 90292) to get home.
