Better Homes and Ammo (a post apocalyptic suburban tale)
The Place: A nuclear fallout shelter.
The Time: Exactly three months from tomorrow.
Meet the Bosras, a typical American family dealing with a most atypical situation: the apocalypse. Locked in an underground shelter for months after surprise nuclear attacks on the U.S. have sent the world spiraling into a full blown panic, a family of four struggles to keep their sanity while trying desperately to maintain some semblance of normalcy. -Family game night? Check. -Weekly Bible study? Check. -"Enhanced interrogation" preparedness training? Check. -An uncomfortable sexual tension developing between teenage brother and sister? Check.
No Nude Men Productions proudly presents the end-of-the-world premiere of sketch comedy veteran/Killing My Lobster alumnus Wylie Herman's first full length play. With a pinch of dark wit, a splash of pop culture skewering, and a well armed, fully loaded cast of talented Bay Area actors, Better Homes and Ammo is the perfect recipe for exploring the travails of making the best out of a worst case scenario, and the chaos and hilarity that ensues when the attempt fails miserably.
