Peck's Book/Plate featuring Saeed Jones

Peck's Specialty Food will co-host a new author series: Book/Plate, offering a unique dinner paired with an author and a copy of their newest book for a single ticket price.

Join Saeed Jones on September 18th at 7pm for a family-style dinner crafted by the chefs at Peck's to celebrate the publication of Prelude to Bruise, Jones' newest poetry collectionavailable now from Greenlight Bookstore. "Part of Jones' skill is the ability to take stereotypesabout growing up in the South, about growing up black in the South, about being gayand nimbly overturn them to shake out their contents." Following dinner, Jones will give a reading and sign complimentary books for diners.
