Romeo & Juliet at EAST SIDE FREEDOM LIBRARY
Ten Thousand Things opens the 2014-15 season with its first-ever production of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. A diverse cast takes on Shakespeare's tale of finding love when surrounded by family and societal cultures of violence.
Directed by Peter Rothstein.
Namir Smallwood and Anna Sundberg star as the young lovers, joined by David Darrow, Bob Davis, Kurt Kwan, Dennis Spears, Karen Wiese-Thompson , and Regina Williams.
THIS IS A FREE PERFORMANCE, BUT SEATS ARE LIMITED AND RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
From Minneapolis take 94 East. Just after downtown St. Paul get in the left lane and follow signs to 35E North/US-10 West. Continue on 35E North /10 West for about 1.5 miles to exit 109, Maryland Ave. At the exit, take a right onto Maryland and follow for just under a mile to Greenbrier St and take a right. The library will be on your right, three blocks down. There is limited street parking available, enter in the front at the grand entrance, or there is an ADA accessible entrance in the rear of the building leading directly to an elevator. The performance will be downstairs. ADA accessible.
