Cast and Creators: Toni Douglass [Playwright/Lyricist/Director/Mrs. Sandra Claus] was honored as Washington's Centennial Playwright. Her plays have been seen in the State Capitol Rotunda, throughout the Puget Sound area, east of the Cascade Curtain, and in Philadelphia, New York, and New England. Her historical drama "Missed Liberties" and the outrageous comedy, "May's Vote", both about the struggle to get the vote for women in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, broke records for two years under the auspices of the Washington Commission for the Humanities. A member of Actors' Equity, she has appeared in Seattle in "The Revenger's Comedies" at ACT, "Blood Wedding" and "The Country Wife" at Intiman, and The Incredible Murder of Cardinal Tosca at the Tacoma Actors' Guild. An original company member of the Tony Award-winning South Coast Repertory Theatre and a five-year member of It's a Mystery, the acting company performing interactive murder mysteries on the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train, Toni has been acting professionally since about the time she quit believing in Santa Claus.
Ellen Lippman Finn [Composer/Musical Director] is co-founder of Seattle Women's Jazz Orchestra, a jazz bassist for several local bands and leader of her own Ellen Finn Jazz Trio. Luckily for "Naughty! The Musical", she finds time to freelance as a composer and musician. Ellen has recently released a CD of her Jewish/Jazz/Blues compositions called "Matzo Balls and Chitlins", which can be seen and heard on her website www.ellenfinnmusic.com. A stunning new piano book of her "Jewish Originals" has also just come out. Ellen studied violin and piano at the Eastman School of Music, bass and jazz at Seattle Central Community College and Faunt School of Creative Music.
