Sour/Bitter Fest 2014 : The Trappist

PLEASE NOTE: There will now be only 1 Session, 2pm-5pm. The Trappist has secured a larger area of the parking lot and can now host everyone for a single Session! (One big happy family!).

The Trappist will be hosting a unique tasting event that couples 8 top brewers of bitter and sour beers with 6 local restaurants in a beer and food tasting like no other. Each brewery will bring a sour and a bitter beer while each restaurant will supply a bitter and a sour bite. The combinations are endless! (well, maybe not endless but it's a lot).

8 Breweries: Sante Adairius Rustic Ales, The Rare Barrel, Craftsman, Tahoe Mountain, Almanac, Woodfour, Drakes, Mraz Brewing.

6 Restaurants: Homestead, Perdition Smokehouse, Ramen Shop, Tamarindo, Miss Ollie's, Abura-Ya.

happening WHEN: Saturday, Sept 6th, 2014 - 2PM to 5PM

to be held WHERE: The Trappist parking lot, just behind the patio. 460 8th Street, Oakland, CA 94607

What it COSTS: $62.00 (limited tickets!).

What you GET: The ticket price includes an event glass and open tasting of beers and bites from participating breweries and restaurants. You will get to try 16 different beers (8 sour and 8 bitter) and 12 different bites (2 different bites from each restaurant). You will choose the pairings and decide what you like best! We will also provide a brewery/restaurant map (hand drawn by John Casey).
