A bespoke Brooklyn event brought to you by Entrepreneur Eric Chavez, owner of Chavez Design, Lavender Lake, and Nihil Gallery.

When Eric Chavez settled in Gowanus, Brooklyn, his neighbors were empty lots and broken windows. Although his mainstay was Event Production Design + Fabrication, within months, Chavez had rounded up partners and opened Lavender Lake, a gastropub adventurous enough to be the cornerstone destination in the hood. Sensing a permanent shift in the area, the next project was an art gallery to satisfy the need for off-beat culture and a gathering place for new, young, local blood to see and be seen.

Enter Uninvited.

This 4-day event will turn an empty lot in Brooklyn into a micro community of metal music, motorcycle enthusiasts, skateboarders, and art lovers enjoying the last of the summer wine, and creating a platform for an annual street event set to become a Brooklyn legend.

Each day and night will host open skate sessions on an undisclosed sponsored ramp, while the afternoons and evenings of world class Metal bands fill the undisclosed sponsored stage next door to Nihil Gallery, which will concurrently feature an Exhibition around the metal, motorcycle, and skateboarding counter culture. The front of the gallery houses a retail store, selling event and band memorabilia, smaller works of art, other related objects, and curated fashion and accessory items. At night Nihil Gallery becomes a cinema, showing relevant films on big screen and offering a place to relax.
After the live music and cinema portions of the evening conclude, a DJ will take over and Nihil Gallery becomes an afterparty until daybreak.

Attendees will be welcome to camp on site after 10pm, from Thursday 9/18 until Sunday 9/21, creating a truly vibrant community full of experiences and stories to tell for years to come.

Beer and limited alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase as well as food, so there's little reason to leave once you've been Uninvited
