Washington Artisan Cheese Seminar
Celebrating the Washington Cheese
Washington is a thriving dairy community home to over 40 cheese makers, a number that is growing every year. Cheesemonger Sheri LaVigne from The Calf & Kid will guide you through a comprehensive tasting where we will explore a diverse selection of cheeses made in the region, and learn about the people, animals, and environment that make for the bounty of dairy products we have available so close to home.
Local beer and wine will be paired with cheeses along with other pairing elements from the area.
The seminar is approximately 60 minutes long and will be offered on Saturday, September 27 at the Seattle Design Center during the Washington Artisan Cheeseamakers Festival. Seminar tickets are $40.00 per person or $35.00 when purchased with a festival ticket. Seminar tickets include cheese and beverage samples. 21 and over only. Space is limited. Advance purchase required.
