About the performance: Miller will present her trio What We Have, a powerful testament to the tenacity of family. In her piece Threshold, two dancers experience freedom and restraint in their physical reliance on each other. I AM the Bully (premier), explores the psychology behind bullies in an emotionally intense examination of power, defeat and the resilience of human nature.
Rogers will re-stage SIGHT, an investigation of perspective and identity, unveiling the notion that it is often easier to live in the world while blindfolded than it is to truly see one another. She will premier a new piece, REWIND, that portrays the story of a life in reverse, a de-identification of sorts, and an ode to memory, slowing down, getting lost, and running.
