Hot Hot Hot!
It may feel like fall is right around the corner, but Alden LaPaglia of ALDEN MOVES Dance Theater will soon be back at Cortelyou Rd Library to help the kids relish the final days of summer. On Friday, August 22nd, sunshine boys and girls ages 3-9 can turn up the heat with cool summer favorites like the Surfaris, Martha and the Vandellas, and the Beach Boys. As in all dance programs, Sunshine Days incorporates infectious music and fanciful explorations of rhythm, movement quality, and space. Guest can join us at the end for a mini-performance that will really take you back!
Space is limited so advanced registration is required for both the 3-4 year old and 5-6 year old classes. Should the event sell out, you may contact aldenmoves@gmail.com to be placed on the waiting list. (Note: No itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini required, just comfortable clothes and socks.) We look forward to seeing you there!
Brooklyn-based dancer/singer/actress/choreographer Alden LaPaglia is the director of ALDEN MOVES Dance Theater. She's toured nationally in Bye Bye Birdie and presents her choreography in and around NYC. Teaching kids for the last 10 years has kept her young and creative! She's developed dance classes and parties to foster children's natural love of music and movement and ignite the kind of excitement that lasts a lifetime.
