The Unveiling
a visual-album release screening
It's been over a year in the making and it's the second release for PROM QUEEN, but a giant leap since the release of the debut, 60s-noir album Night Sound in 2012. For starters, the solo project grew into a band with the addition of Tom Meyers, Jason Goessl and Ben Von Wildenhaus. Secondly, the sound has grown to encompass a broader spectrum of feels; from mid-century middle eastern exotica to spaghetti western to spacey psychedelic rock. And finally, the release is breaking new ground as being a fully visual-album, with all 12 songs having their own videos strung together into a film!
The project began last summer through a successfully funded Kickstarter campaign* to raise $12,000 to make the video album. The entire project was completed on June 1st for a cast and crew and VIP screening and now, it's time to share it with the world!
This release event will feature a screening of the full 52 minute film as well as a live set from Prom Queen and some additional guests! DVD/CD bundles will be on sale as well as the album on vinyl. Don't miss this world premiere of Prom Queen's Midnight Veil!
