Fight Like a Girl!
Come out and support the Lowcountry High Rollers in their last bout of the season! LCHR will take on the Little City Rollergirls of Johnsons City, Tennesses at the Citadels' McAlister Fieldhouse.
If you haven't seen them rule the rink yet, this is your chance to experience non-stop derby action here in the Lowcountry. Half-time entertainment will be provided by Steve Hit Mike and a portion of the proceeds will go to raise money to fight breast cancer. LCHR has teamed up with local program Fight Like a Girl, as well as Susan G. Komen. Volunteers will be on hand to sign interested members up for the Susan G. Komen race in October.
Wear a significant amount of pink in support of breast cancer awareness AND LCHR and get $2 off at the door!
Roller Derby is the fastest growing womens contact sport in the United States with over 300 teams nationwide.
This isn't your mama's roller derby though! Don't expect choreographed pile drivers with subsequent fist fights. This centuries derby is tough, athletic, AND entertaining.
