Bare: A Pop Opera
Home Grown Theatre Co. Presents:
"Bare: A Pop Opera" - Loosely based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, A group of high school seniors at a Catholic boarding school faces issues of personal and sexual identity. As they perform Shakespeare's tragedy in school the line between characters and reality begins to blur and it becomes hard to tell where the rehearsals stop and their lives become real. The students struggle to come to terms with who they are, and who the world thinks they should be, they seek answers from their Church, their friends, and ultimately, from within themselves.
