Pints & The Past: Goose Island Edition | Volume 2: The Muddy
VOLUME 2: THE MUDDY Join us for the second in a three part series exploring Goose Island's Fulton & Wood Beers and their connection to Chicago's history, culture and people.
Volume 2 will focus on Goose Island's The Muddy which was inspired by the legendary Muddy Waters and other Chicago Blues musicians such as Willie Dixon. Both Muddy and Willie recorded many of their albums at Chess Records and influenced the future of Chicago blues. We'll gather at the historic recording studio formerly known as Chess Records for a conversation with Willie Dixon's widow, Marie Dixon. Goose Island Brewery representatives will be on-hand to discuss the beer. This event will serve as the official launch party of The Muddy.
$30 ticket price includes a conversation in history and appetizers paired with The Muddy.
ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE MUDDY WATERS SCHOLARSHIP.
