THE LINEUP:
FREE ADVICE Free Advice is a trio that combines elements of Bluegrass, Roots music, and the American songwriter tradition. Perched around a single condenser mic, the group is unique pairing of lush vocal harmony and fluttering strings - both accessible and yet not easily placed. Travis Stewart, Bailey Rayne and Benjamin Engel explore the limits of their music while anchored by a decade of collaboration.
DUE DILIGIENCE The Due Diligence is a dangerous cocktail. Shrewd contemplative songwriting wrapped in a wild bombastic live show.
WILLY GANTRIM I grew up in Houston in the smoldering heat, hit the road at 17 and lived in snowy Milwaukee, lonely, lonely Norman, ecstatic New Orleans, and haunted Olean. I live in home bittersweet home New York City now and enjoy singing with my good ol' Stella and a Pignose. I perform songs I've written and songs that have already been written that I like. Spring is on it's way so I'm going to be trying to squeeze in as many shows and as much busking as I can. Look out for me on weekends at the markets and keep checking back here as I am constantly updating shows and will be recording again soon. You can also look me up on Facebook, or listen to or buy my albums on Bandcamp. Catch you later. - Willy
ABOUT SIXPOINT BREWERY Sixpoint Brewery, founded in 2004, follows a long line of brewers throughout history who've sported the Sixpoint Brewer's star, an icon representing the rich tradition of brewing beer. Sixpoint Brewery, the latest local crew to sport the star, breathed life into an old garage in Red Hook in 2004 by filling it with brewing equipment and getting some old-fashioned fermentation under way. Now they proudly serve up tasty craft brews to the great folks of New York City. Lucky you, tonight you're one of them!
