Jazz, Blues & Barbecue in the Park 2014

A full dedication and benefit, including silent auction, for the Kenwood Plaza Gazebo, dedicated to the memory of Bobby Musser-Kirby and other children who lives have been tragically foreshortened.

The gazebo will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, with a noontime dedication, speeches and acknowledgement of the many volunteers who built it. The dedication is free, and will be followed by a fundraising event including a great afternoon of jazz and blues, accompanied by a healthy, full afternoon lunch catered by local restaurants and featuring local foods, beer and wine. The event also will offer a spectacular silent auction conducted by the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation; proceeds from the auction will benefit both Kenwood Plaza and other Sonoma County Parks.

Please book early as only 375 tickets will be available (including those reserved for the many volunteers who donated their time, labor and materials to make this beautiful structure a reality.)

The event committee consists of Don and Amy MacNair, Steve and Colleen Rose, Helena Duffy, Paul Kruzic and Jay Gamel. Please contact any member if you have questions or wish to volunteer your time to help make this a great event.

Music is being booked and details will be included as they are ironed out over the next two months.
