A FREE Showing of David Harrell's, "A Little Potato and Hard to Peel"
Playhouse Creatures Theatre in collaboration with Sarah Norris of New Light Theatre and Nazareth Housing, are pleased to present David Harrell's "A LITTLE POTATO AND HARD TO PEEL". Follow David's journey to define normal despite being born without his right hand, in his engaging autobiographical story at the Access Theatre (380 Broadway, New York, NY 10013, Fourth Floor).
"A Little Potato and Hard to Peel," written and performed by David Harrell, delivers a humorous and heartwarming look at living with a disability. He was born without his right hand. Through his journey we learn to not let ourselves be defined by our own limitations or let the circumstances of our lives peel away the core of our humanity. David clearly demonstrates that by not judging a book by its cover, everybody grows and through his journey we learn to not let ourselves be defined by our own limitations. "A Little Potato and Hard to Peel" is a remarkable show, tightly written and, yes, brilliantly executed. It's an inspiration, it's an education, it is truly remarkable." -The Winston Salem Journal.
