RIPE 2014: Vancouver Farmers Markets' Dinner Celebration
RIPE is Vancouver Farmers Markets' annual dinner fundraiser, a true celebration of local food showcasing the best of BC farmers paired with Vancouver's top farm-to-table restaurants.
The RIPE dinner features a series of delicious appetizers followed by a sit down, family style feast, all prepared with food from the markets by an exciting roster of local, farm-to-table chefs.
Edible Canada, Forage, Graze, and Vij's Rangoli will present this year, along with signature cocktails by VFM vendors Long Table Distillery and Odd Society Spirits, a special RIPE cask from R & B Brewery, and wines from BC Wine Studio. Stay tuned for more details on participating chefs and restaurants.
Set against the elegant backdrop of the Roundhouse Exhibition Hall, RIPE will feature live entertainment from bluegrass quartet Scattered Coals, fun party games, and an abundant silent auction.
