2014 Northland Holiday Mart
The Northland Holiday Mart is the signature fundraising event benefitting Safe Place For Kids. Your support of our premier shopping event means you are making a difference in our community.
The Northland Holiday Mart runs from Friday, November 7 to Saturday, November 8. Friday is Girls' Night Out from 5-11 pm, featuring live music from Jimmie Bratcher - The Electric Rev. We've extended shopping hours on Saturday from 11 am - 8 pm with a new Happy Hour featuring more live entertainment from 4 - 7 pm.
Through fundraising, volunteering and material donations, Safe Place for Kids supports non-profits that provide safe places for at-risk children in the Kansas City metro region. Funds from the Northland Holiday Mart are awarded to local non-profits who represent our mission statement. This year's beneficiary is River of Refuge, an organization that provides a comprehensive program offering free housing and other resources to working families. Upon completion, families have saved enough money to secure safe, affordable, long-term housing.
