Akfen (Music RisqueZ, MontrZal) Marc Leclair aka Akufen has come a long way in the four years since the release of his now-classic debut album, My Way. Since the 2002 release he's garnered a reputation as one of the world's most in-demand DJ's, delivering prime-time sets to exuberant crowds on nearly every continent. In addition to the dozens of singles he's issued, Leclair holds a monthly residency at London's famed Fabric nightclub, runs his own label Musique RisqueZ, and has remixed such genre-defining artists as Richie Hawtin, Cabaret Voltaire, Yello, Massive Attack, Thomas Dolby, Mike Shannon, and Thomas Brinkmann. Between his Akufen and Horror Inc monikers, Leclair has released on the notable labels Perlon, Force Inc, Mille Plateaux, Nova Mute, Circus Company, Motor Music, Mutek_Rec and Soundslike. His DJ sets are tech-house crowd-pleasers; his performance at Decibel 2005 left many legs weary, and this time he's sure to do it again.
Lusine (Ghostly Records/Hymen, Seattle) Lusine is the brainchild of Jeff McIlwain for his visceral, melodic vision of abstract electronic music. Having attended Cal Arts to study 20th century electronic music and sound design for music and film, he first began creating his lush interpretation of IDM many years ago. Since then, he has recorded for labels such as !K7/MAS, Hymen and Delikatessen, all aside from his prolific output for pioneering American IDM label Isophlux. Since making the move to Ghostly in 2003, Lusine has released the Push and Flat Remixes 12's, as well as the stunning and widely-lauded Serial Hodgepodge full-length from 2004. A veteran of URB magazine's "Next 100" series, Lusine is one of the foremost American producers in the abstract field and an artist with a boundless future in his craft.
Kristina Childs (Decibel/Krakt, Seattle) As well as being a guest DJ at many clubs in the Seattle area, Kristina has performed in Frankfurt, Bogot, Medellin and various major US cities, sharing the stage with such artists as John Tejada, Joel Mull, Dan Bell, Mike Grant, Minx, Bassnectar, Brian Aneurysm and Marcus Nicolai. She is a resident of Tost Lounge and Krakt, runs Plasmodium
