Following the death of Henry V revered for uniting England and subjugating France the crown has passed to the infant Henry VI. Internal conflicts seem poised to tear the country apart as the powerful houses of Lancaster and York vie for control of the kingdom. Into this rift appears the bewitching Joan of Arc who appears ready to redeem the dishonored French kingdom.
