See Something Say Something
Sneak Preview of See Something Say Something and Poetic Showcase this Tuesday, July 28th --One-Night-Only Spoken Word Event at The Tank Theater in Hells Kitchen--
See Something Say Something is a new theater work developed from the collaborative efforts of seven of New York's most relevant spoken word poets. The show features performance and poetry by Intangible Collective artists Edward "Edy Mac" McWilliams, Daniel "Fritz" Silber-Baker, Brian "Omni" Dillon, Eden Connelly, Caroline Rothstein and Adam Falkner, and the poetry of Reynaldo "Bamboo MC" Melendez.
The production examines the value of poetic expression by posing a question: "What if history was outlawed?" The poets explore artifacts of personal history, the importance of memory, the socio-political power struggle, and alien identity. The performers' raw energy combines with the show's unique style and structure to merge the theater and poetry worlds into one.
