50th Anniversary Award Ceremony and Gala
Company of Angels, Los Angeles's oldest non-profit theater company, will present its first Leonard Nimoy Angel awards at its 50th Anniversary Award Ceremony and Gala on October 17 at The Alexandria Hotel, 501 S. Spring Street, the company's new home in Downtown Los Angeles.
The award is named after actor Leonard Nimoy, best known for his iconic portrayal of Mr. Spock in the television and film series, Star Trek. The Leonard Nimoy Angel is an award bestowed on individuals and/or organizations who have made significant contributions to theater in Los Angeles, and to Company of Angels, in particular.
Nimoy will be recognized for his role as a founding member of the theater company. Also to be honored will be veteran actor Robert Ellenstein, for his contribution as the company's first Artistic Director.
"I'm looking forward to celebrating Company of Angels's 50th Anniversary Award Ceremony and Gala," said Nimoy. "My congratulations for so many years of good work!"
Join us as we celebrate 50 years with food, drink, live entertainment and distinguished guests! Tickets are $75, but if you make your purchase before October 1, your ticket is $50.
