The Greatest Cantorial Concert in South Florida History
Two dozen cantors and soloists perform Jewish music from around the world. A concert of the widest variety of Jewish music. Ladino, Israeli, folk, Yiddish, pop, classical, jazz, liturgical. About the only thing the music has in common is that it is Jewish.
The singers are selected by a committee headed by Alan Mason. Alan is one of the nations leading accompanists for Jewish music, and will perform with the singers.
The concert is at the beautiful and historic Bertha Abess Sanctuary at Temple Israel of Greater Miami. The sanctuary, built is 1926, is the oldest synagogue building in continuous use in Florida.
The concert is open to all regardless of religion or synagogue affiliation. There is abundant free parking. For more information, go to the concert's web site, www.cantorialconcert.org.
