Giselle
The quintessential Romantic ballet of Giselle was chosen as the 2013/14 season finale in honor of the late Carolyn Gracey Greer, founder of the Ballet Bellevue studio, Bellevue's historic Ballet Arts Center. It's a grand 50th Anniversary of Miss Carolyn's return to her native Northwest in the 1963/64 season to begin her footprint of dance production which will never be forgotten. With Ballet Bellevue Orchestra under the baton of Music Director and Conductor, Philip Tschopp, the choreography and staging by Emily Lubinski promises breathtaking beauty for Bellevue's annual top weekend for the arts.
