CLASSES LIMITED TO 10 STUDENTS Class will be held at instructor's home in Noe Valley. Easy access from 24 & J Church Muni lines. Street parking not difficult.
This class is taught by JAMES JUDD, the writer/producer of 7 SINS, one of San Francisco's most successful solo shows. This is the right class for you if you are:

DATES: Sundays 3-6pm August 9th - October 4th (no classes August 30th or September 4th.) You will be writing and performing in every class. Public performance night included in the class!

TEACHER: James Judd is the writer/producer of 7 SINS, which began as a group show at Venue 9 in 2002. As a solo show it has been produced at local, regional, and international theater festivals, including The Edinburgh Festival and the East to Edinburgh Festival at 59E59th Theatres (Off B'Way). At fringe festivals across North America, including Montreal, Hamilton, London, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Washington D.C., and Orlando it received numerous Best of Fringe and Audience Favorite accolades, as well as an award for Best International Production. In 2009 7 SINS will be presented in Massachusetts, Rehoboth Beach, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle's Solo Performances Festival (filmed for television) and as part of the Atlantis Events cruise vacations. His new show James Judd's WHOOP CLICK! will be presented at the Dark Room Theater on Saturday nights at 8pm July 11-August 22. He has recently been seen and heard promoting his show on San Francisco's local TODAY show affiliate and NPR-affiliates KAWL Out in the Bay Radio program and NPR Cape and the Islands Morning Edition. He is a former member of the Groundlings Theater and the New Faces of the Hollywood Improv in Los Angeles. He has performed in the San Francisco Comedy Competition, Star Search, Evening at the Improv. His other plays include FAT CAMP, ALEC BALDWIN'S UNDERWEAR, and WHOOP CLICK! He holds a Master of Professional Writing Degree with an emphasis in Playwrighting from the University of Southern California, Master of Intellectual Property, and Juris Doctorate. He is a licensed but non-practicing attorney.
