Can't Stop the Serenity

The Browncoats of New York City present Can't Stop the Serenity June 28, 2009 at the historic St. Mark's Church in-the-Bowery. Dinner, Dance & Entertainment to benefit Equality now.
General (Passenger) Admission will include: A buffet style dinner Live guest performances Music & Dancing with professional instruction/demonstration Auctions & give-aways
Crew Level Tickets will also include some free goods
Captain Level Tickets will include special free swag! See "Captain's Club" on website for details
Fancy dress or themed costumes are encouraged but not required.
- About the Browncoats of New York City - The Browncoats of New York City are a social club, originally based on a fandom of the television series Firefly and subsequent movie Serenity. This will be the third such event organized by the Browncoats of NYC, who have raised several thousand dollars in their previous events. See http://www.browncoatsofnyc.org for more information.
- About Equality Now - Equality Now was founded in 1992 to work for the protection and promotion of the human rights of women around the world. Working with national human rights organizations and individual activists, Equality Now documents violence and discrimination against women and mobilizes international action to support their efforts to stop these human rights abuses.
