at the behan, this was a wonderful, embarrassing, moving event. my hope this time is to (somewhat) formalize the idea.
the boston typewriter orchestra is going to perform. 6 typewriters. 6 typists. 12 mikes. they make rhythmic music typing.

the show:
a friend of mine, Peter Sykes, a Serious Harpsichordist, will open the night. also a classical singer (Eamonn Bonner) will join him for 2 pieces, followed by the boston typewriter orchestra for one piece. then 2 paragraphs read by 2 different readers. then berlin'll play 1, 2 songs that might in some oblique way relate to the pieces read. then the whole trio - bto, reader, rick - repeats + so on.
after all is done, pariah beat'll get us dancing into the wee night.
