It has been 6 years in the making but the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation finally returns to the Canadian Indy wrestling scene on Sun. May 3, 2009!
The event, titled "AWF Super Scrap!", will be held inside the brand new AWF Action Centre (named after the promotions website www.AWFaction.com). The AWF Action Centre is located inside Class Act Dinner Theatre in Whitby, Ontario (104 Consumers Dr.)
The AWF Action Centre is easy to get to as it is just off of Highway 401 at either the Thickson Rd. or Brock Street South exits (depending on whether your travelling east or west). The venue is also minutes away from the Whitby GO train station.
AWF Action Centre parking is free and the venue it totally wheelchair accessible.
Tickets, at $15 for General Admission and just $20 for V.I.P. ringside seating (first two rows), can be purchased online at www.AWFaction.com or by calling our toll free 24/7 ticket hotline @ 1-800-838-3006! Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the show.
Headlining "AWF Super Scrap!" on Sun. May 3rd will be a "Super Scrap for the Gold!"-- a match in which the winner will walk out of the AWF Action Centre as the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation champion. Bell time will be 2 PM sharp! With doors opening to the venue 45 minutes before showtime.
More details on the AWF Super Scrap will be announced in the days to follow but already confirmed to appear, and return to the AWF, on Sunday May 3 are Apocalypse Wrestling Federation favourites and Apocalypse Now members:

and former WWE star JASON SENSATION as well as the two time former AWF Champion "The Joeverine" JOEY KNIGHT!
Southern Ontario's very own superhero DANNY DYNAMIC will also make his return to the hottest Indy on the planet on Sun. May 3rd as will former AWF and Quebec Champion JACKAL and the "Amazing" KEVIN GRACE!
Further talent names and match-ups will be released in the days ahead as some of the very best representatives of the AWF clamour to return and fresh new talent are anxious to make their mark in the Apocalypse!
