*If you are unable to attend the Seminar, please release the seats you have reserved.
*Call Brown Paper Tickets at 1.800.838.3006 x1 and give them your name to release your reserved seats.

*We have room for 100 walk-ups (60 seats) for the free simulcast in the Lobby, this is a separate line, so get there early; we'll also release empty seats in the theater right before we start.
*Members and Ticket holders: if you arrive after 7:25 we may not be able to seat you in the theater.

More than any other political entity, cities learn from each other. San Francisco's youthful mayor has traveled the world examining what works best in other cities.

Now in his sixth year on the job, he has seen various ideas and programs bloom or wither, and has led the city's ambition to become one of the world's Greenest. In this talk we hear about lessons learned and plans in the making, in a world now mostly urban.

The Seminars About Long-term Thinking were started in 02003 to build a coherent, compelling body of ideas about long-term thinking, to help nudge civilization toward Long Now's goal of making long-term thinking automatic and common instead of difficult and rare.
